Nashua re-CODE with Sam Durfee

February 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

During this meeting, we will have Sam Durfee, Nashua’s Planning Manager up to talk about Nashua re-CODE. If you haven’t heard, Nashua re-CODE is as described on their website:

Nashua re-CODE is a pivotal initiative that is set to transform the future of our City.

Building upon the vision outlined in Imagine Nashua, and guided by a commitment to a diverse and forward-thinking community, the City is embarking on a journey to redefine its zoning ordinances and land use policies.

The long story short is Nashua is reconsidering its zoning for large portions of Nashua. It is an exceptional opportunity to work towards updating Nashua to become more mixed use.

Sam will take some time to discuss opportunities to take an active role participating in the new zoning plan. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.

We hope you all will be able to make it to hear about how Nashua is considering reshaping its zoning!

Additionally we will take some time to discuss how we can continue to stay actively involved in pushing for Complete Streets, as it is strongly complementary to the new zoning discussion.

Note: This meeting will be taking place on a Wednesday this time and in the Public Library, not the Maker Space.
